If you choose to enable data synchronization, your data may be backed up to Firebase Firestore, a secure cloud database provided by Google. This backup is optional and requires your explicit action to enable.

All data is stored on your device using encrypted local storage.
Data transmitted during optional cloud backup is encrypted using industry-standard TLS encryption.
